We trust drivers in the other lane to stay in their lane. We trust engineers who built the bridges we cross. We trust doctors, pharmacists, mechanics, and cooks to do their jobs well. Our lives depend on strangers more often than we realize.

But if we place that kind of trust in people every day without thinking twice, why is it so hard for us to trust God?

In this sermon from John 4, Exodus 17, and Romans 5, we explore what Scripture teaches about faith and loyalty to God. In the wilderness, Israel struggled to trust God for their physical needs. At the well in Samaria, Jesus offered living water that leads to eternal life. And in Romans, Paul reminds us that through faith in Jesus we receive justification and peace with God.
