Let’s talk about Kumar & Kumar.
They are among you.
You could be one of them.
Let me introduce them to you.
Let me start with Kumar A
Kumar A is a typical student from an average family.
He has completed his schooling and college from regular aided school and college.
He is neither bad nor good in his education.
He wants to earn a lot.
But jobs aren’t easy.
And...
He is not good at English and has communication issues.
He can’t get good at English because he things that's not his mother tongue.
Accidentally he finds a digital marketing group on Facebook and joins it.
He reads the success stories, and he wants to become a digital marketer.
He joins a local institute, or an online course learns digital marketing.
Somehow he manages to join a company and starts earning a bit.
That’s not enough.
But it’s OK to start with.
He goes to work in the morning, does the work, finishes it and comes back in the evening.
He follows what’s been told and completes what’s assigned.
Whenever he faces a problem, he looks for answers in forums and groups.
And he continues to work every day hoping tomorrow it’ll be better.
Tomorrow his life will change.
His dreams will come true.
He’ll travel around the world.
He can live the laptop lifestyle like all those people who email him.
He reads all the emails from the marketers he follows.
He buys books and courses occasionally when they cost less, hoping they will change his life and get him closer to the dream.
He starts reading or watching a few of them and then stops.
They all demand more learning and doing.
He wants to learn and apply them...
But with all the office work, spending time on Facebook and other stuff, he doesn’t get time to do so.
He just continues with his life…
He continues dreaming for a better tomorrow.
Wishing and dreaming…
But never achieving it.
And then we have Kumar B.
Kumar B is also an average student from a typical family.
He has completed his studies from a regular school and college.
He wasn’t too sharp and understands his limitations.
He knows he isn’t good at English but also realizes it’s essential to success.
He puts little more effort to learn English.
