We know that we all have to earn a living. You have to make ends meet. You must work or have an income that follows you into retirement. But the question is a good one, namely, “Who do you work for?” Our Gospel reading today reminds us that whatever we do for a living, like the first Apostles, in this Gospel, like Matthew (Levi) we are employed by the Lord Jesus in His work! And all of us would agree, working for Jesus is “Always Better” no matter what we do! Amen? Amen.
