There have always been various opinions about Jesus of Nazareth. This was true in his own time and it is true today. On one occasion he asked his disciple Who do people say I am. The general opinion then was you are a prophet in not more. But Jesus directly asked them- Who do you say I, the Son of Man am? Then Peter makes the great confession that Jesus told was revealed to him by the Father. Peter replied in answer to the question- You are the Christ the Son of the living God!

Here is the question I want us to explore- Who did Jesus think he was? What was Jesus’ self-identity?

The correct answer to this question is essential.
