When Tucker Carlson gave a speech to this year's attendants at the Turning Point USA convention, he discussed a very simple idea about the prosperity in America. Can you afford a house in your late 20s or early 30s? He made a point to highlight that GDP doesn't mean anything if you can't afford a house and raise a family. The engineer in me wants to understand the cause of this peculiar insight that Tucker highlighted. If you don't understand a problem, solving is virtually impossible. However, this is commonplace inside our political system. Tucker also talked about how the least impressive people that don't seem to have any skills are getting rich in America while the vast majority of us are getting poorer. The connected class is the subject of today episode where we review an article in The Misesian, authored by Patrick Newman. It's an insightful revision of the economic history from 1948 to 1929. This period set stage for what we now call Cronyism which is now thoroughly entrenched in America's political system.

Without a doubt, LIBERTY is the most important principle undergirding our society. Without liberty everything is more difficult and despair rules the day. The most important subset of LIBERTY is economic liberty. Without economic liberty, you become a type of slave. Some one who cannot reach their potential in society due to some imbalance distortion that exist in obtaining resources. In our modern society, this distortion is created by the government and its monopoly claim on the production of the units of the medium of exchange, or the currency. It doesn't matter whether you vote for the Republican candidate or the Democrat candidate, this monopoly power continues to exist. WE MUST END THE FED and replace our currency with REAL MONEY.

More Epstein in the news. The looming political exposure to Trump is more than the establishment media can resist. Democrats smell blood in the water and they are on the attack. Republican James Comer has often been interested in driving a wedge into the establishment. In his latest move he has decided to issue subpoenas for former high-level government officials, including the Clintons, James Comey, and Merrick Garland, for information on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Let's see how this plays out. At a minimum, it should keep the Epstein situation in the media so that normies have a chance to catch up.

The weaponization and use of the intelligence agencies of the U.S. Government against a sitting President are clearly illegal acts, but until now it's been CONSPIRACY THEORY. This little fact didn't seem to get in the way of the "TRUTH" Barack Obama, James Clapper, John Brennan, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe and other high officials within the outgoing President's close circle of advisors were willing to serve up to the world during the transfer of power to Donald Trump. This from the people that put thousands in jail for protesting about suspicions of election fraud in 2021. This is an egregious abuse of power and possibly treasonous criminality. We'll see what happens!!!

MAGA has been unflinchingly behind Donald Trump on every issue regardless of how badly it is handled until now. People don't seem to be able to move on from Epstein. To me, this is sign of hope! A sign that our society hasn't decided to just completely ignore true justice and follow the narrative hook, line and sinker. It will be interesting to see how this will play out over the next several weeks and months. I'm not holding my beath for this but I am very hopeful.
