Perhaps the fundamental error of false religion is its failure to conceptualize God correctly. A defective view of God will inevitably skew one's understanding of God's will. One's understanding of God's will, in turn, affects belief and behavior. Legion are those who insist that their beliefs and practice have God's approval--though their ideas are not found in Scripture, and are, in fact, immoral. The only corrective is to dig deeply into the Bible to acquire an accurate grasp of God's nature.
