Who is God? How would you describe him to someone who does not know Him? Would you start with His name or maybe His character traits, and from what source of knowledge would you draw these descriptions? Where do we find these truths in the Bible? In Exodus 3:1-6, Moses first encounters God in a bush that is burning, yet it is not consumed, and we see that we need to know more about God than we do about ourselves. To know Him is to trust Him, to rest in Him, and to hope in Him.
