Jesus is the Son of God; he is truly man and truly God. This is foundational to being a Christian and foundational to the rest of our lives. Jesus is the divine nature of God, nothing less, from all eternity. Our deepest desire should be to know the Son of God and to have a personal, intimate, hour-by-hour, trusting, saving relationship with him—and through him with the Father. When we confess and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the gift of adoption, redemption and reconciliation is ours.
