Imagining Jesus - Everyone has a picture of Jesus in their mind’s eye. And often those pictures are very different from one person to another. It is not uncommon for those mental images to shape the way you think about Jesus, and the way you respond to Him in your life. In my experience, most people have a variety of misconceptions of who Jesus was and is - from the way He looked, to the interactions He had with people. A thoughtful read of the Gospels will significantly change your mental images of Jesus and challenge you to rethink not only what He looked like and lived like, but also the very reason He came. This series will clarify, surprise, and most of all challenge your view of Jesus of Nazareth!

Episode #3 – Pride and Prejudice – What do you do when you run into a person whose words and actions challenge many of your underlying assumptions? In this segment, Jesus teaches His disciples a few things about God’s heart, while challenging their worldview and deep seated prejudices. You’ll also see Jesus’ method of reaching hard to reach people. He starts by grabbing a woman’s attention and then arouses a curiosity in her. Next He creates a desire in her to have what He’s offering. Jesus, very willing to give her what her heart desires first does something that many of us would think too forward – He confronts her sin. The gospel is not complete without dealing with sin. Once sin is repented from, access to God is immediate. She could not contain her newfound faith. Listen in to see what she did next!
