In this passage we that (1) Jesus' vision is much better than His disciples' focus; (2) Following Jesus will cost you, but not really; and (3) Taking steps with Jesus is a progression which will lead you into His Kingdom forevermore.
How do we apply this? Know that Jesus sees you right where you are and loves you. Let Jesus progress you by taking steps with Him that will ultimately lead you to worship Him.
