After the series on Jubilee, we are back to the book of John with the Who is Jesus? series. Today we look at John 12:1-11 and see Jesus as the Sword of Division. In this passage we see that:
(1) Jesus is worthy of extravagant love and humble reverence;
(2) Worshipping Jesus supremely makes us love others rightly; and
(3) We are not called to be witnessing, but to be witnesses.
Pastor Dustin Clegg gave us 3 questions to consider:
(1) How do you view your possessions?
(2) What does it look like in our world to worship Jesus extravagantly like Mary?
(3) Does your life align with the message of the Gospel?
There is NO middle ground.
