Jesus shocked the crowd when he predicted the destruction of Jerusalem. How could God allow such an outrage. But God, having given his people free will, placed the destiny of Jerusalem into the hands of its inhabitants. Would they live in obedience and peace? Or, live in rebellion and destruction? What about us?
