In a slight departure from discussing what could be termed "normal" issues, Doug Hagmann takes a broad look at some of the forces that appear to be steering us into domestic conflict while protecting those guilty of unspeakable crimes. Consider the historical parallels between the pre-Civil War era and today - what can we deduce from such similar dueling ideologies? Consider that many pundits and writers are willing to address certain issues, but aggressively refrain from a deeper examination of the people and groups who appear to be really in power - the string pullers who have existed and operated in secret. Any discussion of these groups is prohibited, or will lead to charges of being called conspiracy theorists, crackpots, or worse.
