We live in a world that tells us at every turn that “you are the authority in your life”, and the world calls this freedom. But true life is found not in self-rule, but in surrender to the loving authority of Jesus and His word. True life isn’t found by grabbing the throne for ourselves, but by joyfully bowing to the One who rightfully sits on it.
