Who Is This? | Luke 8:22-39 | 29th September 2024
This sermon proclaims that the answer to the storms of life, we are all certain to face, is found only in remembering and resting in who Jesus Christ is.
Three important truths about who Jesus is are drawn out from these verses and personal testimony. Firstly, Jesus is the one who hears the cries of our heart and responds. Secondly, Jesus is the one who calms us during the storms of life and is the only one we can truly trust in. Finally, Jesus is the one who heals and brings freedom where no-one else or any other thing can.
Lord, when we inevitably hit rocky waters in life, help us to remember who you are and continuing building our lives on you the solid rock.
