Jesus, God's Lamb, was sacrificed once and for all! The writer of Hebrews wrote regarding the New Testament sacrifice of Christ's life: "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
