Today’s conversation is a question, “Who is your Jesus?”
Matthew 16:13-17
If you’ve been a person of faith for a while you or grew up in a Christian household as I did; this question may sound ludicrous because you may already have ready answers – e.g. He’s the son of God, the Christ, my Lord and Personal Saviour, Father in Heaven, and so on. While these aren’t wrong, I want to encourage you to commit to knowing Jesus better. Like Peter, commit to having a revelation-based understanding of Jesus.
Action Point: Ask the H.S to reveal Jesus to you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of your son, thank you for your reckless love. Today, I ask to know and understand the new dimensions of the person of Jesus. I ask that Christ be revealed to me, in Jesus name. Amen.
