In 1 Samuel 24- David first spares Saul's life, again in 1 Samuel 27, David spares Saul's life again. . . Understanding and teaching the men around him, that he will not touch who God once anointed.
We understand in reading 1 Samuel, that David was anointed to be King, in Saul's place. When Samuel goes to anoint David a God instructs, He asks Jesse (David's Father) to bring forth his son's. Jesse never once even considers David. Samuel has to ask David are these all your son's?
Who or What is your Saul in your Life? And what are you refusing to allow God to fix, by doing the opposite of David and trying to fix it yourself? How many of you are tired of being overlooked or an afterthought? How would that change if you decided to not participate in the foolishness of this world?
