When President John F. Kennedy was killed in November 19 63, his body was taken to a hospital in Dallas. It was quickly commandeered by the Secret Service and by nightfall, his body was already back in Washington at Bethesda Naval Medical Center under the eyeballs of military doctors to conduct an autopsy.
Kennedy‘s brain was removed and put to the side in a metal canister. Shortly after that, it was gone and really never found again.
The interesting thing is, is it stolen body parts from famous dead people has been a cottage industry since time in memorial--and sometimes, the stolen object is equally surprising--and appalling.
