We discuss how the anime hits a casual viewer vs a diehard fan of the Devil May Cry game. The characters come into focus as they discuss whether this is even the Dante they know and love, and whether they were let down by the writing. But most importantly, we determine if Devil May Cry lives up to the prestige of one of the most influential games of all time, or if one of the greatest characters of all time just becomes a background character in their own story.
