The Adamic Covenant and the Shape of Human Life
God placed Adam into a covenant world with a calling to serve as priest, king, and son. Adam was commissioned to worship God, guard what was good, exercise dominion, and extend God’s righteous order throughout the earth. Adam stood as the covenant head of humanity, representing all who would come after him.
When Adam broke covenant through sin, death and curse entered the world. Yet God did not abandon His covenant purpose. Instead, He judged sin while promising restoration. The rest of biblical history unfolds as God continues His covenant with humanity, restoring what was broken and advancing His purposes through successive stages.
