If we stop changing, we stop growing. Jesus’ call to, “Follow Me,” beckons us into everyday life changes. We grow to value learning and innovation as we seek to apply the Gospel to an ever-changing culture. We don’t want to simply go through life; we want to grow through life. Staying who we are will not help us become who we can be. We choose to embrace learning and innovation because progress only comes through struggle. What we don't want to do is often the very thing we need to do. We are products of our past, but we're not in prison to our past. As we strive to be learners and innovators, we do so with mission in mind: by proclaiming and adapting the timeless Gospel to an ever-changing culture.
