On the Road in Newcastle for Episode 8, we chat with James and Ethan from Kickin' Lilies, who are two members of a 5 piece Alt-Rock band from the North East, Sunderland, We begin their musical journey with artists such as Sex Pistols, The Clash, Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Warrant.
Playing at Sounds of Sunderland and supporting The Pale White in Sunderland at the Independent, have been highlights of their career since they formed early last year.
James and Ethan performed an acoustic version of Bad Dreams, when they visited us in Beyond Vinyl.

Episode 7 features Fantanas, a two-piece rock band from the West of Scotland. Craig and Cameron, take us on their musical journey. We talk all things music, with first sounds including Good Charlotte, Simple Plan and Green Day. They made their start in the Glasgow music scene in venues like Box and Buff Club, their most memorable gig was their EP release in The Priory.

Episode 6 features Carly Connor and Tino, from Glasgow, Scotland. They take us on a musical journey. We discuss the music that surrounds the key moments in their lives, with first sounds including Aretha, Whitney, Paul Simon, Urban Cookie Collective and a funny story about Elvis and Glasgow neds. They talk us through playing in Glasgow while they were teenagers, to having a Holy Fuck moment at King Tuts and supporting Jessie Buckley in London. Tino speaks about sharing a stage with Rod Stewart at The Hydro and singing I Fought the Law with Mick Jones from The Clash.

Episode 5 features The Novacs, a four-piece indie rock band from Airdrie, Scotland. Camie, Kian, Reiss and Sam tell us their story. We discuss the music that surrounds the key moments in their lives, music which ranges from Elvis to Eminem. They talk us through how the band was formed and provide us with some very funny stories about their time in London, which includes destroying a toilet in the Hilton and terrorising uber eats delivery drivers.

Episode 4 features Fairweather Friends, a folk duo from Glasgow, Scotland, who really capture the beauty of music with their sound. Sam and Jegan tell us their story. We discuss their musical influences which you would not be surprised to hear include The Beatles, but you may be surprised to hear a story about being in a metal band.

Episode 3 features The Bleeders, a two piece rock band from Glasgow, Scotland who have a huge sound. Jackson and Daniel tell us their story. We discuss their first musical influences, their journey to becoming The Bleeders, which includes some very funny stories about an unfortunate incident involving Guinness in Ireland and who they are listening to now.
