Episode Two is here! Allow me to introduce my once long ago part-time-supposed roommate, Austin Liberato. Austin is a professional photographer, a world traveler, and a Texan by birth but a Coloradan by heart. He is often found on surf board and bike, catching the rhythm of the elements. I adore this guy and it’s fun to see how our lives have changed since we first met, both be wandering bachelors, using the same house as a basecamp for life’s adventures and as we joke about, supposedly living together.
I love how Austin describes his son as his favorite person. You’ll hear Austin describe how half way through his sons nap, he’s often eager for his son to wake up, wondering “is he up yet, or what?” just awaiting more time to be in awe of his little guy.
Take note of Austin’s current vantage on the role of dad. Austin is on the brink of going from a father of a toddler son, to a father of a son and a daughter, as he and Emily anticipate their second child. It was fun to explore the difference in mindset and approach that Austin and Em are envisioning, as they grow their family.
We explore the role fathers play for our partners, and how being a great dad involves being a rock for your wife as she wades deeper into her womanhood and momma instincts.
