If you believe that God is good and only good, this episode will give you much to reconsider. God allows pain and suffering for purposes we cannot fully know. Our understanding of our circumstances is limited; God’s is infinite. When we assume that we know the mind and will of God, we will find ourselves on the road to repentance. A personal relationship with God, having a heart that is close to Him, should be our primary focus. A theological relationship with God is insufficient. Experiencing God’s true nature and character will prevent us from believing lies about him and will draw us closer to the safest relationship we could ever have.
