We keep trying to make spiritual rules concrete, but loving people is not as easy to define as that. Different people and situations change the outworking of love. God's greatest commandments are about love: Love God & love others. A lot of His rules are like that: simple to hear and then we make them complicated when we try to figure out how to obey.
