Lanie and Kathy did their homework for this episode and it shows! In an odd twist, Kathy, the laziest of students, came with a list that could rival the old NYC phone book. Lainie, an eternally over-prepared Phi Beta Kappa, kept her list to a tight group of truly interesting guest stars. Is this episode long (ish)? Yes. Is that mostly Kathy's fault? Yes. Did we have a blast talking about pre-Fonzi Henry Winkler, pre-The West Wing Jon Amos, and Slim Pickens? HECK YES! Also discussed but not quite solved: Why is the MTM show a direct pipeline to the Love Boat? Seriously! WHY???
