In this episode, Jennifer asks a question she receives about parental labeling from cisgender people who are interested in Calista's journey as a MtF transgender parent, "Does your daughter still call her dad?"  Issues related to transphobia and imposter syndrome are also discussed as they relate to Calista's struggle for acceptance in a seemingly heteronormative world.
