We like to have a good time on "Who's Your Movie?", but we also have a serious side to us as well. We'll tap into that side in this episode as we dive headfirst into the incredible Vietnam war movie, Platoon. Join us as we talk about the importance of this movie, the importance of the real people that endured situations portrayed in the movie, and the importance of the many brave people who continue to serve our country every day. We'll also discuss Oliver Stone's long journey to getting the movie green lighted and produced as well as some interesting facts behind this masterful classic.
Season 2 of Who's Your Movie? kicks off with a series of films close to our hearts. With spring training quickly approaching, the Machine of Randomness deemed that we start the year off with the Major League saga. Join us as we talk baseball, locker room culture, voodoo, stalkers, the Metrodome, and the national treasure that is Bob Uecker. Grab your bat, take some practice cuts in the circle and step into the box for some big laughs courtesy of this trilogy!
