Whose Are You?

Listen Later

Parashat Beha’alotcha

Finding our purpose in a chaotic world begins with answering fundamental questions: Who am I? Whose am I? What is my part in God’s plan? These aren’t merely philosophical inquiries but practical questions that shape our daily lives. The Torah portion Beha’alotcha (meaning ‘to ascend’ or ‘to raise up’) illustrates spiritual growth and lifting others higher—a call to move from preparation into action.

Like the feeding of the 5,000, God doesn’t need us to have everything figured out—He simply asks us to offer what we have, and He will multiply it abundantly. As we move from seasons of preparation into action, we must clarify our household’s mission, vision, and values to guide our decisions. Moving forward requires relying on God’s Spirit rather than our own strength, allowing Him to cleanse us from shame and propel us into our calling despite distractions and challenges.
