But Christ's response reaches far beyond politics and taxation. The coin bore Caesar's image — and therefore belonged to Caesar. But man bears the image of God. This sermon explores the theological implications of ownership, stewardship, redemption, and lordship. Believers are not called to divide life into sacred and secular compartments, but to render fully to God what already belongs to Him.
