Anger is a natural and automatic reaction to physical or emotional pain. It can occur when we don’t feel well, when we feel rejected, threatened, or experience some loss. The type of pain doesn’t really matter, just that it is in some way unpleasant. It’s a secondary emotion that generally pairs with another like fear as a way of subconsciously dealing with that emotion in another way.
