"Why are Blacks so Anti American?" And Police Justify Using Excessive Force in Recent Killings

Listen Later

There is a lot happening in the news as usual and we will briefly get into them today:

1. Recently someone asked why are blacks so anti-American, why don't they just leave? The comment was in response to a comment I made to John A. Castro regarding his feature in Newsweek attempting to get Trump off the ballot. I stated:

No one is above the laws and the constitution. Nevertheless, many will hate on you Mr. @realJohnACastro for what you're doing to hold leaders such as Mr. @realDonaldTrump accountable. But never give up! What is not done in this life will be done in the next. But we continue to do what we can in this life. The scriptures provide a picture of humanity when the gospels report on how Pilate was perplexed with a crowd of angry citizens in Greco-Roman world called for the release of Barabas, a convicted criminal, yet demanded that Jesus, who was innocent should be crucified: "away with #Jesus but give us #Barabas." That is the nature of a fallen race needing rescue, who are still embracing the bad over the good without apology and with intense illogic and inhumanity devoid of certain ethical virtues. via https://twitter.com/renaldomckenzie
We have had Castro on the show. The person included Renaldo McKenie, Mr. Castro, and Mr. Trump in the reply. I did reply via Twitter and I discussed this with Donte on the episode today.

I replied:

Who says that they were & who are #antiamericans? When you say #blacks do you mean #lgbt, #urbanindians, #ancientamericans, #LatinAmerica. #liberals, #democrats #moderates? And Why should they leave what may be theirs in the first place @UihsOrg ? Moreover, you confuse freedom of expression and the fight for social justice 7 equality as hate. Change does not come by #solitude. But by making popular what was the monopoly! so that we are able to serve the world today to solve tomorrow's challenges... #theneoliberalcorporation.

2. Yesterday Police killed a 28-year-old man running from a store after he was seen with a cart full of home goods from the Home Improvement store in New Castle Delaware. We discuss the police's justification for killing a defenseless man.

3. There was another shooting where Police killed a black man in his home after they showed up abruptly in the morning at his home with his family. He was shot in the back after the police say he pointed a gun at them. However, relatives say they never entered the house and he had a gun in reply to the noise in the morning, something Americans if they are unaware of that Police are there at 5 am in the morning. we discuss.

Note:

One-third of Americans (35%) say racism is “a very big problem” in the United States, according to a June poll from the @pewresearch. Just 14% of Republicans see racism as a very significant issue compared with 55% of Democrats.
According to cnn.com: Three people were killed Saturday in a racially motivated attack after a gunman targeted #Blackpeople at a Dollar General store in #Jacksonville, Florida. #racism #extremism

Later today, the Philadelphia Youth Anti-Violence event at the Roosevelt Elementary School on Washington Lane and Musgrave. It is the second annual Impact event and we were there last year and will be present later today.
