Howden's Men’s European Football Injury Index recently revealed that a total of 915 injuries were recorded during the 2023/2024 season. This cost €318.8m (£266.6m), which accounted for 44% of the total across the top five leagues in Europe.




With these worrying statistic's amongst the ever increasing schedule, should changes be made to limit damage to players health and the productivity of the game? Mark spoke to a number of professionals who all gave their own fascinating take on this subject.
