Around three thousand Resident Medical Officers walked off wards in public hospitals throughout the country at 7 o'clock this morning, they won't return till the same time on Thursday morning. District health boards have had to postpone thousands of non-urgent operations and clinics. Health correspondent Karen Brown explains.
