Recent research showed that people who are poorer are 10 times more likely to get Covid-19. Part of the reason is that they work the jobs that are considered essential. They are the bus drivers, the custodians, plumbers, restaurant workers. They did not and do not have the luxury of working from home during the pandemic. Her guests this week include Laurel Christensen Day, president of Deseret Book, Lisa Walker, certified athletic trainer and teacher at Springville High School, and Karilyn Frazier, digital content producer at KSL and elementary school educator.
