In 2005, I was working in the Mortgage Industry. 

I had a big house, big pool, a big backyard, and a blonde girlfriend. 

I was making $700,000 a year making loans and flipping homes on the side. 

I was living the dream. 

But it wasn't my dream. 

It was a variation of someone else's dream. 

I only know this because of the whisper.  

We all get whispers from time to time. 

Those of us who are lucky hear it, listen, lean in, and take rapid action. 

Not me.  I'm hard headed and as the story goes. 

It would take jail and losing my mortgage license and the ability to make tons of money for me to finally pay attention to that whisper and the words written in that one book that revealed to me in plain writing what my life was to be. 

Lean in and listen.
