The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 13:5 "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves." This is in a huge way, what Jesus Christ is saying here to a multitude who were "following" Him. Heaven & Hell are absolute realities to Him. Are they to you? What are your motivations? So many people "seek" or "follow" Jesus Christ for all the wrong reasons. Their motivation is wrong. Their desires are wrong. As a result, the idea they have that they are going to Heaven is wrong! These people followed Jesus for the "stuff." He puts that very plainly to them, "Jesus answered them and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled." John 6:26 Are you following Jesus for the bread; the stuff you can get along the way? Or are you following Him because He is The Bread of life? The only way into Heaven and the only way to true eternal satisfaction? Listen to this message and ask yourself why YOU are seeking Jesus...
