Why be Catholic? Here's why!

Being Catholic is hard. Being a functional adult is harder. Being both? Pray for me. Welcome to A Crappy Catholic—the unfiltered podcast where faith, dysfunction, and sarcasm collide. I’m Mark Kwasny: former lost child, current black sheep, and lifelong practitioner of overthinking everything. I’m Catholic—but not the Instagram-perfect kind. More like the kind who yells at traffic, judges strangers in grocery stores, and still can’t forgive half my family. Each episode is like a confession, if your priest rolled his eyes and said, “Seriously, again?” I’ll share stories from my life, misadventures in spiritual growth, rants about human absurdity, and failed attempts at being a decent person. Expect awkward truths, dark humor, banjo metaphors, and the occasional Latin word I just learned five minutes ago. This isn’t a catechism class.
