Stacking supplies helps make you more ready for many things—but what about a real in person confrontation? As the world get more crazy and violent, the likelihood of having an altercation with a mentally unstable person also gets higher. I see these people walking the streets daily, I know you do as well. We need to be able to deal with them without having to resort to lethal options like a firearm.

So today we are interviewing a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and unpacking why BJJ needs a place in every prepper’s readiness training. It’s not about “winning fights”; it’s your blueprint for surviving the worst day of your life. Which will empower you to fight off bigger opponents, keep family safe, and stay cool when things get real. Whether you’re new to martial arts or building out your toolkit, BJJ is one important aspect to the hands on self defense training that should not be overlooked. As the protectors of our family we need to be able to face whatever situations come our way at a moments notice and learning BJJ gives you some great non-lethal options.
