For centuries, Black Americans have been a major contributor to plenty of the innovations of American culture and were swept under the rug. Now with the new year coming, it's almost like we can't catch a break from being only considered to be one monolithic group, but some of us engulf in that negative stereotype. Is that a problem with the world or ourselves?
