This week we begin a new series titled "Why Care About the Church" as Pastor Chris Vigil brings a message titled Dealing With Church Hurt. Rooted in Scriptures such as Ephesians 3:10, Matthew 16:18–19, Romans 12:1–2, and Psalm 55:12–14, this message addresses the real and often painful experiences many carry from within the church. Scripture reveals that while the church is central to God’s purpose in the world, it is also made up of imperfect people, and healing requires both spiritual detox and intentional deprogramming. In this message, we explore how renewing our minds, emptying our hearts before God, and handling church hurt the way Jesus did allows us to heal without allowing past wounds or the weaknesses of others to distance us from the goodness of God or His design for the church.
