"If I had your story I might hate the church too," is a great way to start a conversation with someone who has great reasons why they don't experience church during the week.  But that's just the beginning of our crisis as a church community.  We are plagued with anti-intellectualism and therefore suffer from the "Empty Self" syndrome.  But how do we fix it and what should we do about it.
