The next couple of weeks we want to rediscover what church is so we can properly redefine it. What is evident is the message remains the same, while the method continues to change. Look around Sanctuaries are empty but the church is full, Buildings are closed but the church is open, the world is dying but the church is alive. The church doesn’t have walls , the church is not a building. Why church, because the church is how we get through catastrophe, hardship, undoing, ruin, crisis and havoc. Why the Church because Christ is the center, hope is the byproduct, Unity is the goal, redemption is the promise, calling is purpose and heaven is home. Why church because we are the Church?
