54% of women getting abortion in this country claim to be Christian. . . seventeen percent identified as mainline Protestant (who make up 15% of the population), thirteen percent as evangelical Protestant (who make up 25% of the population), and twenty-four percent as Roman Catholic (who make up 23% of the population).
