Conservatives have a world view that cannot be adopted by liberals. This ought to be obvious but when conservatives opine about the division in society, the only way that this division can be eliminated is for conservatives to cease being conservatives. There is no path for liberals to adopt conservative values without a total reversal of all they believe in.
