It's President's Day, Will and Alex have the day off from their regular jobs, and Will's breaking down Bitcoin charts while plotting his next move on Circle stock. Also: someone floats the idea of a hot tub livestream, which goes about as far as you'd expect.

Will explains why he bought Circle (CRCL) stock and what "USDC to the moon" actually means for shareholders. The conversation shifts to custody—do you need a seed phrase, or can you skip it? Evan and Will unpack the trade-offs. Someone asks how to move BTC or USDC into a Turbo position, and they walk through the mechanics of leveraged crypto.

The big question arrives: "What is the purpose of blockchain and DeFi? Why doesn't the government like it?" Alex delivers one of his best analogies yet—DeFi puts more rungs on the ladder, and those rungs come down closer to the ground. The government hates that because corporate intermediaries pay for campaigns, and crypto cuts them out. It's bipartisan, and it's gutting the middle class.

Evan issues a correction about X Money (XMN token on SUI)—he got the origin story wrong in a previous show and Alex triggers him with the details. Will gives an update on technical analysis (can you trust it when governments lie about economic data?), and the show ends with Evan dropping scam warnings about fake "backup your wallet to web3" schemes and unnecessary trusts or LLCs for crypto.
