Why Did Moses Ask Israel To Stop Their Freewill Offerings? [Exodus 36:1-7][Lesson 144][W.T.T.B.]
The children of Israel had been commanded by God to give certain items so that the sanctuary could be built. He also though told them to give willingly. This is known as a freewill offering. Israel obeyed this command, yet after awhile, Moses told them to stop. Why? In Lesson 144 of our study of Exodus we learn the answer to this question.
