Hi there my lovely people!
Have you ever wondered “Why do I feel stuck?”
I had a client recently that came to me with this feeling.
She had been making amazing progress on a few personal goals but then for one reason or another, sort of “slid backwards” as it were.
I was able to work with her to get to the root of where these feelings of being “stuck” were coming from and now she is back on track with her goals.
In my 20 years in the mental health and coaching field, I find it is a very common concern in my clients.
It got me thinking how many other folks are maybe struggling with similar feelings and don’t even really recognize it?
You don’t necessarily find yourself saying, “Hey I think I am stuck.”
It shows up in our behaviors…
Maybe we are setting a new fitness goal and we go running every day for 2 weeks straight and then we wake up one day feeling terrible and so we don’t go for a day.
And then another…
And another…
Or maybe you are working on a project at work and you have this burst of productivity for a few weeks but then feel like you “hit a wall” and don’t accomplish anything for several days.
Sometimes this just means you are tired and need a recovery day or three.
But sometimes, this is your brain self-sabotaging your progress.
Remember your brain can treat change like danger…we have talked about this before.
I have a process that I take my clients through which allows them to unlock their brain and move forward with their progression.
And in today’s episode, I am going to give you some of the starting part of that process which can help you get unstuck.
Today we will chat about:
