Whether you're considering an age-gap romance yourself, or just mocking one from afar, we usually have a pretty negative opinion of the union. "What can't he/she just date someone their own age?", we hurl into the void. So, are we jealous? Or are we correct in assuming it's a bad idea?

In my future relationship with another, is it necessary to stay within a certain age boundary? How can/should I deal with that gap, handle society's assumptions/expectations, and will it work out?
